"Arrg" and ..."a skeleton sound"

I've been entrenched in Warhammer since I've been back, basically. Sunday brought on the campaign at P&C. Shannon (Tomb Kings), Ray (Dark Elves), and me (Vampire Counts) played 2000 points total versus Thomas (High Elves) and his 2000 points. It wasn't clear who would win until the last turn. The bad side was able to kill off his Seagaurd(??) unit and then it was just about 2/3 of his White Lions, so we won.

Then I've been painting. I'm done with 4 Grave Gaurd for my army. I haven't taken any pictures yet, so I'll show you later.

That's the "skeleton sound." The "arrg" is because I've added my lovely Snotiva to Jennifer Government: Nation States. Currently it's has "a slick and highly efficient black market in Cheese Exports." How cool are those pirates! It's quite entertaining.

And for PBSE...

I watched some movies...that is mission #98. I watched Castle in the Sky, Castle of Cagloistro, and Tanuki Wars. So, three movies, at 50 points each is +150 points.

Total Thus Far: 4750

Ookina momo deshou!

This is our giant peach (momo) from our skit, Momotaro. It is about a boy who comes from a peach and defeats the evil Oni. Quite fun, the kids did a good job of it today. They even sang a song.
"Momotarosan, Momotarosan
Okoshini tsuketa kibidango
Hitotsu watashini kudasaina."
"Agemashou, Agemashou
Imakara onino seibatsuni
Tsuite kuranara agemashou!"

The Gang

Here is almost everyone (except for me, Ben, and Randoulph) from the Japanese group, including sensei. This is just before our trip to Bogee's for milk shakes.
And here is everyone but me. Very fun times! This was today before skit practice around 8:30am.

Ben!!

The coolest kid!

Achi Muite Hoi!

Here are two campers laying Jan-ken-pon, or Japanese Rock-paper-scissors. It goes like this.
Together: "Jan ken pon!"
Put our rock, papers, or scissors as normla.
*If a tie...
Together: "Aiko de shyo!"
Do again and repeat if nessecary.
Winner: "Achi muite hoi!" and point either up, down, left, or right as you say hoi.
The loser is to turn their head on hoi. If you point the direction they turn, you win. If not, do it all over again.

T2, pictured above, won every "turny" he played in!

Setting Up

Here are some pictures from my week. I got to Kansas Weslyan University and eventually to my dorm room. Here it is with all my bags, and then after I unpacked. Not too interesting.

In the dorms, it was very humid. And kinda stinky. I guess from always being humid, it smelt kinda old and used in there...but you got used to it. Sadly.

The other thing is, the beds were lame and very squeaky. I would wake up in the night when ever I would roll over or something. Very annoying. I found myself not moving and waking up with parts of my body in various "pins and needles" stages. Crummy.

And Done

Well, I got back from Language Camp around 7:00pm today. Yay! Home!

Today went well. The kids did a good job on their skit and they all left fairly on-time. The clean-up went fast because we did most of it in the morning. Before I headed to Manhattan, I ate lunch with Kei-sensei, Ken, and Randoulph. Good times.

We ate at Applebee's and I wanted a Blackened Chicken Salad, but they had new menu's without it! I was so sad! Randoulph said to order it and they would get it for me anyway. So I did, but they didn't have the hot-bacon dressing, better know as, the good part. So I ate it with honey mustard, sigh. So then for dinner with Shannon, Chris, Jenette, and Aaron, we ate at...Applebees. And they had the salad! Argh...I should have just waited. Eh. Glad to know its not gone.

Grouped

I am a member of a warhammer group on flickr. :)

Woohoo.

Days 5 & 6

Ah, almost done! Only one day left, almost exactly time wise. The campers should be gone by about 4 and it's 3 now...so 25 hours! Yay! I am having a good time, don't get me wrong, but, I am very tired and I really miss Shannon!

Skit is tomorrow and that should be fun. Tonight is the awards show and a "party." The kids said it was lame last year. Eh, I can stay in my room and just sit...or something.

So I found something out today. We own Love Hina, the anime series. We have been watching it during the week, about 9 episodes done. So, Kay-sensei came in today while it was on and told me something about it between episodes. She said that only young girls (under 10) watch it, and "strange" boys. Hmm...it makes sense, but I never would have guessed. But, eh. It's still entertaining. Not the best by far, but entertaining.
